Ben played the last movement of the Brahm’s Violin Concerto in the Elmhurst Symphony Concerto Competition yesterday.

He played well but evidently didn”t win any of the prizes since they were calling the winners this afternoon and we didn’t hear anything. (Update: when Ben’s comments from the judges arrived we were pleased to find out he did get an honorable mention)

The Chicago Symphony Youth Auditions (aka Concerto Competition) is soon: February 28. Ben will be playing the same piece for that.
