West was placed Principal Second which means they’ll be leading the 2nd violin section in the district festival this year.
Apparently they came third out of the 52 violinists who got in and the top three scored very close together. The people who scored higher than them are both eighth graders. So that’s all great news for West and means they did very well in their audition.
West has a solo in one of the pieces which is neat.
