West’s gerbil Midnight recently died of illness and old age. The day before Thanksgiving she got three Chinese Dwarf hamsters. Their names, in the order pictured, are Cloe, Snoe (pronounced “Snowy”) and Zoe, and yes, she can tell which is which!

It was exactly six years ago today that my husband took the day off work to take me to the doctor. I was ill and he wanted to make sure I got on whatever medication I needed. I got better once I was on medication, but it took a while for me to fully recover.
