I’m not sure when I replied how cool the genealogies in the Bible are. It was probably in BSF (that has a lot to answer for!)
Anyway they are cool once you realise they are an index to some awesome stories, basically
So when we read Matthew 1 he is saying Jesus was just like us – but, no wonder he was truly incredible when we look at where he has come from!
He stands on the shoulders of Giants! Everyone one of them is an incredible person of faith with ann unbelievable story!!! Of course They weren’t perfect, they made mistakes, they were human! But they were incredible none the less!
