Both Ben and West did very well in piano guild this year. They always do well but this year they got the highest scores they’ve ever had.
Their teacher encourages them to play 10 guild pieces so they will get a national guild award certificate. West was the only one of her students who chose to do 15 pieces this year and get an international award certificate.
West’s comments
West, you are a sensitive, committed young musician. Truly the “icing on the cake” for your lovely program was your concerto! Each difficulty and challenge handled like a pro. Thank you for making my day – Congratulations to you and your fine teacher.

Ben, what a wonderful you pianist you are. Memory on the Barber was rock solid secure (difficult to achieve on contemporary repertoire) and with a sparkling cadenza! Bravo to you and your diligent teacher, as well!!
