Last night Ben and West’s piano teacher held a small recital in the Fazioli recital hall downtown which (of course) has a Fazioli grand piano in. Fazioli pianos are largely handmade and very high quality and Ben and West said it was very nice to play.
Ben played the Prelude in G minor, Op 23 no 5 by Rachmaninoff and the Nocturne by Barber and West played Circus by Turina, a six movement piece with these movements: 1. Fanfare 2. Jugglers 3. The Barback Rider 4. The Trained Dog 5. Clown 6. The Aerialists.
