I’m excited about this book (due out in April) because I know it will be full of very honest questions and insights about the way Christians ‘do’ church in the US. Also because it will be a fun read – both Jim and Matt Casper are a lot of fun to be with.
One of the neat things for me personally is that they invited me to go along on one of their church visits – so I’m in one of the chapters.
Publishers Weekly reviewed the book recently; there’s also a Free Preview of the introduction and first church visit available.
Hemant Mehta (the “ebay atheist”) also has a book coming out next month about his visits to various churches. I’ll write about that in April.
