Ben qualified for the High School Concerto Competition finals on two instruments (piano – Liszt Piano Concerto no. 1 and violin – Shostakovich Violin Concerto no. 1, 3rd movement cadenza plus 4th movement). The competition is tonight and there are eight other people in it.
He also qualified for West Suburban Symphony Orchestra’s Concerto Competition on two instruments – that takes place October 4th.
