Braces

Ben had braces put on his teeth yesterday morning. They were hurting yesterday evening but he was relieved that they were feeling somewhat better when he woke up today.
Evidently his friends at school had said today would be the worst day so he was worried after what they felt like last night.
One of the goals is to close up the gap between Ben’s front teeth, so there is a lot of pulling on those two teeth in particular. The gap was gone three hours after they went on - no wonder his front teeth hurt!
Esther is probably getting braces in the next few weeks too. We’ll find out tomorrow when we go discuss the plan for her with the orthodontist. Somehow Esther caught up with Ben or Ben lagged behind Esther so that they both reached this stage at the same time.
