“How can I help?”

People ask “Why” a lot when things happen like the Virginia Tech shooting. I love to hear about people whose response has been to ask a different question: “How can I help?”
Rachel posted on the Justice and Compassion blog about Liviu Librescu, who saved the lives of his students on Monday, losing his own in the process.
I posted on CatE about Lauren Bohn who is on her way to Virginia Tech to be there for students to talk to. She was at Columbine when the shooting there happened, so she really understands what they are going through.
