West’s school orchestra concert was last night. She had a big solo at the beginning of one piece – and when I say ‘solo’ I mean, she was the only person playing. Not, she was the only one playing her line. It went very well – she played it beautifully.
I did my best to audio record it – I won’t know if that came out until Steve gets back from his current trip edited to add – no, it didn’t; I messed it up – sorry, no audio recording. Here’s a short camera clip from her solo (from Ashokan Farewell):
